Bio

Edward Bond is a composer and pianist working under the name Starship Infinity.

His music sits in the neo-classical and cinematic tradition — solo piano that favours space, restraint, and slow-moving melody.

He composed the score for the festival feature The Stranger, for which he received a Best Original Score nomination, and has scored multiple nature documentaries with a combined audience of over ten million, alongside original music for many independent games.

A graduate of the Film Score Academy of Europe and the European Jazz Master program, he wrote and recorded his debut solo piano album Glimpses of a Past Life across northern Europe — from a converted pantry studio in Norway to a hundred-year-old house in the Rhodope Mountains of Bulgaria.

He is based in Trondheim and releases new work weekly.
